About Chinhit Middle School (M.S. Sathopur), Nalanda
Chinhit Middle School (M.S. Sathopur) was established in 1954 and is managed by the Department of Education. The school is located in a rural area of Bihar Sharif block, Nalanda district, Bihar, and has been educating children from nearby communities for more than seventy years.
The school offers education from Grades 1 to 8 and is co-educational, providing equal learning opportunities for both boys and girls. Hindi is the primary medium of instruction, helping students learn in a familiar language. The school is also connected by an all-weather road, ensuring regular access throughout the academic year.
For generations, Chinhit Middle School has laid the foundation for children’s education. However, many students had limited opportunities to read books beyond their classroom textbooks. Even so, their curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn have always been evident.
SSF Libraries at Chinhit Middle School | Dosti Kitabon Se
Under the Dosti Kitabon Se campaign, Shail-Satya Foundation established an SSF Library at Chinhit Middle School to create a joyful and inspiring reading environment for every student.
The library offers a carefully selected collection of storybooks, educational resources, and age-appropriate reading material. As a result, students can explore new ideas, improve their reading skills, and develop a lifelong love for books. Reading becomes an enjoyable habit rather than just a classroom activity.
Moreover, the library provides a welcoming space where children can imagine, discover, and learn at their own pace. It encourages confidence, creativity, and independent thinking while supporting their overall academic growth.
