Primary School (P.S.) Police Lines was established in 1981 and is managed by the Department of Education. The school is located in the urban area of Jaunpur Nagar block, Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh, and has been providing quality primary education to children for over four decades.
The school offers education from Grades 1 to 5 and is co-educational, creating an inclusive learning environment for both boys and girls. Hindi is the primary medium of instruction, helping children build a strong educational foundation in their early years. The school is also connected by an all-weather road, ensuring uninterrupted access throughout the academic year.

Under the Dosti Kitabon Se campaign, Shail-Satya Foundation established an SSF Library at P.S. Police Lines to make reading a joyful part of every child’s school journey.
The library offers storybooks, educational resources, and age-appropriate reading material that encourage children to explore, imagine, and learn beyond the classroom. As a result, students develop stronger reading habits, improved language skills, and greater confidence from an early age.
Moreover, the library provides a welcoming space where young minds can discover new ideas through books. Every story they read helps build curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
