Composite School Sadibankat was established in 2004 and is managed by the Department of Education. The school is located in a rural area of Nagar block, Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh, serving students from surrounding villages.
The school provides education for Grades 6 to 8 and is co-educational, offering a shared learning environment for both boys and girls. These middle-school years are critical, as students begin to develop independent thinking, academic confidence, and aspirations for the future.
While classrooms and teachers guide students academically, limited access to reading material beyond textbooks had long restricted exposure to wider knowledge and imagination. Still, the willingness to learn and grow has always been present among the students of Sadibankat.
Under the Dosti Kitabon Se campaign, Shail-Satya Foundation established an SSF Library at Composite School Sadibankat to strengthen learning during these formative years.
This library provides students with access to storybooks and reading resources that encourage curiosity, improve comprehension, and nurture independent learning habits. For students in rural middle schools, such access plays a vital role in building confidence and sustaining interest in education.
For ssf libraries, the Sadibankat library reinforces a core belief:
books introduced at the right stage can shape lifelong learning paths.
Today, the SSF Library at Composite School Sadibankat serves as a quiet and welcoming space where students explore ideas beyond their syllabus and prepare themselves for higher education and future opportunities.
As SSF Libraries continue to expand, Sadibankat stands as another step toward ensuring that geography never limits a child’s access to knowledge.
We are committed to transforming lives through education, healthcare, and empowerment. Our vision is a world where everyone has access to education and healthcare.
